On Prairie #4 Brian Hettiger's drive ended up in the bunker on the left side of the fairway very near to the lip at the front of the bunker. Risking life and limb, Brian took a full swing, his ball landing on the green four feet from the hole and he made the putt for birdie and a sand save from 125 yards.

Thad Molling has his driver going on the Prairie 9. An adjustment he made a couple of weeks ago to increase the loft on his driver seems to have paid off. On hole #9, Thad hit a majestic drive over the trees on the right, drawing the ball and riding the right to left wind. The 310 yard drive up the hill gave him about 188 to the middle of the green.

Thad's round of 34 included two 2's. One on #2, a chip in, and one on #8, where he hit his tee shot from the 202 yard tee box to five feet under the hole Thad just missed a rare third 2 on #5 when his six foot putt lipped out. Good round, Thad!
