Peter Vanderveer rolled in a 36-foot putt for birdie on Lakes 8.

Peter had hit an errant drive and after looking for the allowed time of three minutes, played another ball (or two since he promptly hit his first replacement ball into the pond) when he found his original drive. As is the custom in UW Golf League play, after consulting with his opponent, Peter continued with his original drive. Taking great advantage of the find, Peter hit onto the green and made the long putt to transform what looked to be a disastrous hole into the Shot of the day.
